Docket terms of service
Agreement
These terms are between Piya Traders ("Docket", "we") and the Shopify merchant that installs or uses Docket. By installing or using the app, the merchant agrees to these terms, the Docket privacy policy, and the Docket data processing addendum.
Service
Docket creates, temporarily stores, prints, exports, and sends merchant-configured invoices, receipts, packing documents, and related records. Shopify remains the source of commerce data. The merchant must review designs, numbering, tax language, recipient rules, and generated documents before relying on them.
Plans and billing
The Free plan and Pro plan are described on Docket's Shopify-hosted pricing page. Pro is $9 per 30 days or $90 per year with a 14-day trial. Shopify App Pricing handles selection, approval, plan changes, cancellation, and charges. Docket does not bill merchants off-platform.
Merchant responsibilities
- Use Docket only for stores and data the merchant is authorized to manage.
- Configure legally required invoice, tax, VAT, customs, privacy, language, and retention content for the jurisdictions involved.
- Keep Shopify, email-domain, and staff credentials secure and review automation recipients and conditions.
- Not use Docket to send spam, deceptive documents, unlawful content, or documents that misrepresent a transaction.
Availability and changes
Docket automatically retries interrupted work, prevents duplicate processing, monitors service health, and shows failures, but no internet service is uninterrupted. We may make changes needed for security, reliability, Shopify platform requirements, or legal compliance. Material term changes will be communicated through the app or the merchant contact available through Shopify.
Suspension and termination
We may suspend abusive or insecure use. A merchant can terminate by uninstalling Docket or changing the plan through Shopify. Uninstall cancels pending work and begins the deletion schedule described in the privacy policy. Privacy and payment obligations that must reasonably survive termination remain in effect.
Warranty and liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Docket is provided as available without implied warranties. Docket is not responsible for legal or tax conclusions, merchant configuration mistakes, Shopify or third-party outages, or indirect and consequential losses. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
