Print from Shopify POS

Docket provides a Shopify POS tile and action. The extension uses the order currently selected in POS and does not require a separate Docket login.

Add the tile

1. Open Shopify POS as a staff member allowed to use apps and view orders.
2. Edit the smart grid.
3. Choose Add tile → App → Docket.
4. Save the grid.

Generate a document

1. Open or complete the relevant POS order.
2. Tap the Docket tile or order action.
3. Choose the available invoice or receipt action.
4. Wait for Docket to create the secure document link.
5. Open the document and use the device's supported print or share behavior.

The document uses your active design and existing invoice number. Trying again will not create a second number for the same order and document type.

Permissions and privacy

Docket checks that the staff member is signed in to Shopify POS and can access the selected order. Document links expire automatically.

Troubleshooting

• If the tile is absent, confirm it was added to the current smart grid and that Docket remains installed.
• If no order is available, open an order before tapping the action.
• If the PDF is ready but printing is unavailable, check the POS device and printer connection; Docket creates the file but does not replace Shopify POS printer setup.
• If an error continues, try once more after refreshing the order. Then send your .myshopify.com store address, order number, approximate time, and visible support code to Docket support. Do not send customer details.
